Code Enforcement enters the fray and the results look great!

Special thanks to the Code Enforcement (Department of Planning and Development for Santa Clara County)

While we took a shot as shown at getting the graffiti cleaned at least from the Marquees in June – Code enforcement took a larger approach and it looks much better!  They had an amazing group of workers who quickly made short work of the various defacement’s on the building!

Also special thanks to Supervisor Ken Yeager’s office (District 4) and the Santa Clara County Sheriffs both of whom helped make this happen!

Here’s a shot showing the West Side of the building – it hasn’t looked this good in years! Code Enforcement even cleaned the Burbank Sign! Great work!

UPDATE – July 2015:
Code Enforcement (Santa Clara County) stepped in as the owner still did nothing.

September 2014, and as you can see the Burbank Theater Marquees really are… well.

I suppose it’s better than the alternative – as shown this side of the Marquee doesn’t even get spray paint, and there are so many panels missing the graffitists are painting the neon tubes. Sad.
